In particular, some of the more interesting\u00a0 aspects for manufacturers and importers are:<\/p>\n<div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-1 fusion-sep-none fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-three\"><h3 class=\"fusion-title-heading title-heading-left fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" style=\"margin:0;--fontSize:32;line-height:1.5;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From 11th November 2020:<\/span><\/h3><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Vaping in workplaces is prohibited;<\/li>\n<li><b>Advertising and sponsorship relating to vaping products is banned;<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Sale of vaping products to under-18s is prohibited;<\/li>\n<li>Import and sale of oral nicotine products is prohibited;<\/li>\n<li>Manufacturers and importers must advise the Ministry of any adverse reactions to vaping products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-2 fusion-sep-none fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-three\"><h3 class=\"fusion-title-heading title-heading-left fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" style=\"margin:0;--fontSize:32;line-height:1.5;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From 11th May 2021:<\/span><\/h3><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Selling of vaping and smokeless tobacco products containing colorings\u00a0 is no longer allowed<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-3 fusion-sep-none fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-three\"><h3 class=\"fusion-title-heading title-heading-left fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" style=\"margin:0;--fontSize:32;line-height:1.5;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From 11th August 2021:<\/span><\/h3><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Manufacturers and importers can start notifying their products<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-4 fusion-sep-none fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-three\"><h3 class=\"fusion-title-heading title-heading-left fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" style=\"margin:0;--fontSize:32;line-height:1.5;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From 11th February 2022:<\/span><\/h3><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Only notified products can be sold<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Notification must be renewed every 12 months<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-5 fusion-sep-none fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-three\"><h3 class=\"fusion-title-heading title-heading-left fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" style=\"margin:0;--fontSize:32;line-height:1.5;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Changes for retailer<\/span><\/h3><\/div>\n<p>Retailers will also undergo important changes: in fact, if vaping products represent\u00a0 more than 50% of their sales, starting from November 2020 retailers are\u00a0 allowed to request to operate as a transitional <strong>Specialist Vape Retailer (SVR)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>SVR will have some advantages over \u201ccommon\u201d retailers: for example, <strong>from 11th August 2021<\/strong>, <strong>only SVR will be able to sell all the flavours<\/strong>, while <strong>retailers can only sell tobacco\/mint\/menthol flavors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Some groups welcome this new regulation: Nabhik Gupta, spokesperson for NZ owned Shosha, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nzdoctor.co.nz\/article\/undoctored\/new-vaping-legislation-sees-largest-vaping-retailer-announce-rapid-expansion\">forecasts<\/a> an expansion in stores as a direct result.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-6 fusion-sep-none fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-three\"><h3 class=\"fusion-title-heading title-heading-left fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" style=\"margin:0;--fontSize:32;line-height:1.5;\">V<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">aping as a tool to quit smoking<\/span><\/h3><\/div>\n<p>The <strong>New Zealand government has long recognized vaping as a tool to quit smoking<\/strong>, taking care to give correct information on the transition from traditional to electronic cigarettes, up to finally eliminating these devices as well.<\/p>\n<p>The website <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/vapingfacts.health.nz\/\">vapingfacts.health.nz<\/a><\/strong> wanted by the New Zealand Ministry of Health \u2014 Manat\u016b Hauora and the Health Promotion Agency\/Te Hiringa Hauora (HPA) is one of the tools to reach this goal.<\/p>\n<\/div><div
